On the ground floor, you’ll find two tastefully designed double bedrooms. One comes with an en-suite bathroom and integrated shower, while the other has access to a separate shower room. Both bedrooms open out through large French windows, flooding the rooms with natural light and offering direct access to the terrace—and the chalet’s showstopper: a quirky outdoor sauna, ideal for soothing tired muscles after a day in the mountains.
The first floor is the heart of the chalet, centered around a spacious dining area featuring a striking black marble table that comfortably seats ten. For a more private dining experience, the space can be enclosed with elegant glass doors. Adjacent to the dining area is a snug living room with a crackling open fireplace, creating a warm ambiance for relaxing evenings. Step out onto the balcony to soak up incredible Matterhorn vistas or enjoy meals outdoors. The fully equipped kitchen on this floor provides everything needed for home-cooked meals during your stay.
Climb a steep ladder-style staircase to reach the upper level, where two more cozy bedrooms await: a comfortable double and a single bedroom. A small, inviting reading nook adjoins the single room and can accommodate an additional guest. These top-floor rooms share a modern shower room.
Chalet Petit Pilou is just a 14-minute walk from the lively center of Zermatt and only 9 minutes from the Sunnegga lift, offering convenient access to the slopes and local amenities.
Please note that access to the chalet is exclusively on foot. After arriving by e-taxi at the Walliserstube restaurant, guests must walk approximately 10 minutes up a hillside path that includes around 160 steps.
